3 Days Tsavo East and West Safari Package
About Tsavo East
Tsavo East is one of the national parks of Kenya that is well known for its unique safari experience. It has been one of the oldest parks of Kenya, since it was found in 1948. There is another side to this park which is known as the Tsavo West, the reason why it was divided into east and west was because of a railway passing between these two sides. Also, it is well known as the largest park of Kenya as it covers thousands of kilo meters of land and has almost four gates.

Thereafter, come back to lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
About Tsavo West
Tsavo West National Park is a wilderness featured in the southern parts of Kenya. It has vast inhabited plains which make it one of the favorite tourist destinations. The park stretches from Chyulu Hills to the Tanzanian border. It is a wild land of broken volcanic hills, and dense acacia woodland. The wildlife densities are lower compared to Tsavo East and Masai Mara but it provides diversity.
There is huge amount of space with the animals spread out thus enabling you to drive around easily. The park is a home to the shaggy maned lions which are the descendants of the legendary man eaters. The vegetation supports large herds of antelopes, zebras and buffaloes. The Rhino Valley is full of leopards sightings with the provision of dramatic shadow of Ngulia Hills. The Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary is manned by armed guards which provides a safe view of the black Rhino who are in the brink of extinction. The sanctuary carries around 50 black rhinos with another 15 released into the wider park. Buffaloes and red-hued elephants are also common in this park.
Another place worth visiting is the pools of Mzima Springs. It has a hide where you can watch hippos underwater through glass windows. The area also provides a perfect area for bird watching under the clear skies. Another spot worth visiting in this park is the Shetani lava flow. This is an arid moon landscape which glows in the late afternoon light. The northern section of the land has campsites and lodges with good facilities. They are more developed and are easily accessible using the main road. The lodges include the stunning Kilaguni Serena Lodge which has captivating views across to Mt. Kilimanjaro. Tsavo West gives you a chance to see all members of the big five in a single day. It also has a secluded, lost in Africa feeling.
Day 2: Tsavo East – Tsavo West
Leave for the morning game drive, come back for breakfast and later leave the lodge/camp towards Tsavo West national park. Game drive en-route to lodge/camp. Check in for lunch, after lunch relax by swimming pool cooling your body and watching the animals drinking water by the nearby waterhole. Later go for the evening game drive, visiting the Rhino Sanctuary until 6pm, come back to lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
